THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State made a comeback once again after falling down 1-0 to North Florida, beating the Ospreys 3-1 to move to 3-0 in ASUN play for the first time in school history. The Owls have won eight straight matches also tying a school record.

SCHUNZEL ON THE WIN:
"I couldn't be prouder of the response of our team tonight after playing uncharacteristically in last night's win over JU. Even though we dropped the first set, if was very obvious we were playing good ball and in a good place mentally. We were extremely focused leading up to and during the match, yet we played with the unbridled passion and edge that have become trademarks of our identity and program."

On the difference in the match:
"We served aggressively led by Karla Radillo, who made two huge serving runs for us. Anaiah Boyer was fantastic for us again, playing another complete all-around match, and Kelly Marcinek was really popping the ball on the right side and continuing to come up with timely kills like she has her entire career."

On the Weekend as a Whole:
"We grew a lot this weekend and took a huge step forward on the road. We cannot wait to finally be back in the Convo next Friday in what will be an absolute battle against FGCU."

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Set: North Florida pushed out their lead to 18-12 after a 9-1 run. As the Ospreys had set point, KSU went on a 6-0 run to get within one, but UNF squeaked it out taking the final point and the first set 25-23.

Second Set: With the momentum on their side, KSU scored in bunches eventually taking the set 25-12. That's the largest margin of victory for the Owls in a set this season.

Third Set: UNF kept it close early until the Owls sprung a 6-0 run to go up 13-7. KSU wasn't threatened the rest of the way as the closest North Florida would get was within five.

Fourth Set: Looking to close out the match, the Owls didn't mess around in the fourth jumping out to a 9-1 lead. UNF fought back and got within two, but Kennesaw State responded with a 5-0 run of their own and eventually clinching the match to push their win streak to eight.
