Huntington, WV. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams wrapped up action at the Thundering Herd Invitational inside the
Jeff Small Track at the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Facility on Friday and Saturday January 29- 30 at Marshall University.
"I'm pleased with our performance this weekend," Director of track and field and cross country
Andy Eggerth said. "Without competing a core of our top athletes we still finished 4th of 12 teams. Our distance crew, hurdlers, and 400m runners performed particularly well. Hunter tied the school record in the pole vault, and Erica did a great job returning from her torn Achilles. There were many event wins and strong performers, but we are still better than what we're currently putting out there. As we unload for conference I can't wait to see us fulfill our potential."
