LEXINGTON, Ky. –Kali Terza and
Emma Sullivan of the Kennesaw State women's track and field team competed on the second day of the NCAA East First Rounds on Thursday at the UK Outdoor Track and Field Facility on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
Ticket Punched
Kali Terza landed toss of 68.30m (224'1) to finish second in the hammer throw and qualify her for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the third time in her career. She will compete on Thursday, June 11 in Eugene, Oregon at 5:30 p.m. Terza is just the second Owl in program history to qualify for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships three times. Sarah Hendrick qualified for the 800m three times in 2021-23.
Running Event Qualifiers for Saturday's Quarterfinals
Emma Sullivan ran a time of 2:02.65 in the 800m to finish eighth overall and advance to Saturday's quarterfinal.
