NORMAN, Okla. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team was once again recognized for its success in the class room as the Owls received Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team honors, it was announced on Wednesday (July 29).

Kennesaw State was one of just 90 Division I men's golf programs recognized for achieving a 3.0 grade-point average or above for the 2014-15 academic year. It marks the fifth consecutive year that Owls have been honored for their work in the class room.

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.

Earlier in the month, seniors
Jimmy Beck and
Austin Vick were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars by the GCAA.
