KENNESAW, Ga. – Today (July 15) marks exactly 50 days until the Kennesaw State football team kicks off its inaugural season at East Tennessee State on Sept. 3. There are only 17 days remaining until the Owls hold their first practice.
 
With the number of days dwindling until Kennesaw State opens training camp on Aug. 1, equipment manager Dan Glynn and assistant Julie Clark have been going through the process of receiving and inventorying equipment that the players and coaches will wear for workouts, practice, travel and games.
 
For an equipment manager, that day when all the equipment begins arriving from adidas, is similar to the anticipation a child has on Christmas morning.
 
When all the equipment is received and processed, Glynn and his staff will distribute it to the 95 players who will report to training camp. Coaches and support staff will also receive a fair amount of gear as well.

Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium is the home of women's soccer, women's lacrosse and football, which will play its inaugural season in 2015.
