DALLAS – Conference USA announced today changes to its 2026 league schedule, including six changes to Kennesaw State football's regular-season slate.
The most impactful changes to the schedule for Owl Nation include four dates at Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium:
- A one-day shift from Tuesday, Oct. 20 to Wednesday, Oct. 21 (Now against Liberty instead of Delaware);
- Saturday, Nov. 21 is now a home game against FIU (replacing a road game at Missouri State);
- Saturday, Nov. 28 is now a road game against Western Kentucky (replacing a home game against Liberty);
- Saturday, Nov. 7 remains a home date for KSU, but the Owls will now host Delaware (replacing WKU).
Further road changes include:
- The Owls will now travel to play at Missouri State in Week 7, shifting one day to Wednesday, Oct. 14;
- Wednesday, Oct. 28 is now at Middle Tennessee.
The rest of the schedule remains unchanged.

2026 Schedule Notes:
- Kennesaw State opens 2026 with back-to-back home games against in-state opponents – Sept. 3 vs. West Georgia and Sept. 12 vs. Georgia State.
- Head coach Jerry Mack will return to Tennessee on Sept. 19. He coached running backs for the Vols from 2021-23. The matchup will mark the fourth time the Owls have faced a Power 4 opponent.
- Mack will also return to face his alma mater for the second-straight year when the Owls travel to Arkansas State on Sept. 26.
- The Owls will host a rematch of the 2025 CUSA Championship Game on Wednesday, Oct. 7 against Jax State.
- KSU will battle Delaware, who enters its second season in Conference USA, at home on Saturday, Nov. 7.
- The Owls will play its third-straight season away from home the Saturday after Thanksgiving, traveling to Western Kentucky on Nov. 28.
