KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team took a 4-2 setback to No. 58 Troy on Sunday (Mar. 15) at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center in Montgomery, Ala.

KSU opened the match by collecting victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectively.

Drew Wendel earned the first victory at the No. 1 position over Andy Lau/Pablo Moreno 8-5.

Jorge Wilton clinched the doubles point at the No. 2 position with an 8-4 win over Giovani Samaha/Austin Racine.

The Owls have won the last eight out of eleven doubles competitions.

Jorge Wilton posted the lone victory for KSU in singles action with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 win over Cyprian Owczarz.

Kennesaw State moves to 5-6 on the season and will return to action on Thursday (Mar. 19) to open conference play against FGCU in a 1 p.m. ET contest at Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
