A-SUN RELEASE KENNESAW, Ga. – Following a dominating performance against USC Upstate, junior
Jasmine McAllister collected her fifth Atlantic Sun Conference Newcomer of the Week, the league announced on Monday (Feb. 9).
"I was very impressed with how Jasmine bounced back after a disappointing loss the week before," said head coach
Nitra Perry. "I challenged her and she responded. We need her to finish the conference strong."
McAllister led the Owls to a dominating 67-55 win over USC Upstate on Saturday as KSU earned its 15th win of the season, making it the first time since the 2008-09 season that KSU has reached that mark.
