Ticket Information | Fifth Third Bank StadiumKENNESAW, Ga. – As it continues to prepare for the inaugural football season, the Kennesaw State Department of Athletics announced on Monday (Feb. 9) the game day designations and information regarding the Black and Gold Game that is scheduled for March 28.
The Owls will play six home games during their debut season with the home opener against Edward Waters on Sept. 12 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium designated as The Inaugural Game.
The remaining game day designations include Youth Day (Sept. 19 vs. Shorter), Homecoming (Oct. 10 vs. Point), Hall of Fame/Varsity Club (Oct. 17 vs. Gardner-Webb), Military Appreciation Day (Oct. 31 vs. Monmouth), and Senior Day (Nov. 7 vs. Charleston Southern).
"We are excited to announce the game day designations for our inaugural season,"
Brandy Chenoweth, director of marketing and fan experience, said. "These designations provide a central theme for each game that fans can expect to see impact their game day experience. It also gives us an opportunity to honor some groups that are very important to Kennesaw State University."
In addition to the game day designations, the Department of Athletics also announced a 1 p.m. starting time for the Black and Gold Game. The Fan Zone and parking lots will open at 10 a.m. with gates to Fifth Third Bank Stadium opening at noon.
More information will be forthcoming as details are solidified. A Game Day Central Page will also be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium is the home of women's soccer, women's lacrosse and football, which will play its inaugural season in 2015.
