DALLAS – Highlighted by six home games, including a rematch of the 2025 Conference USA Championship against Jax State, Kennesaw State football's complete 2026 schedule was unveiled Thursday night by Conference USA.
The Owls also announced that the 2026 season-opener against West Georgia at Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium will kick off under the lights on Thursday, Sept. 3.
Schedule Notes:
- Kennesaw State opens 2026 with back-to-back home games against in-state opponents – Sept. 3 vs. West Georgia and Sept. 12 vs. Georgia State.
- Head coach Jerry Mack will return to Tennessee on Sept. 19. He coached running backs for the Vols from 2021-23. The matchup will mark the fourth time the Owls have faced a Power 4 opponent.
- Mack will also face his alma mater for the second-straight year when the Owls travel to Arkansas State on Sept. 26.
- The Owls will host a rematch of the 2025 CUSA Championship Game on Wednesday, Oct. 7 against Jax State.
- KSU will also host Delaware, who enters its second season in Conference USA, on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Spring football is in full swing for Kennesaw State as they prepare for the 2026 season. With the exception of spring break, the Owls will practice three days a week for the NCAA's number of allowable dates through the 2026 Spring Game on Saturday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at Fifth Third Stadium.
