NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State lacrosse team lost a tough one to the Vanderbilt Commodores 24-1 on Saturday, February 7.
"Vanderbilt is always a challenging opponent for us that we look forward to playing," head coach
Kristina Llanes said. "We were not able to dig in on the draws the way we needed to help swing some momentum in our favor."
Junior
Jessica Alderdice scored the goal for the Owls in the second half.
"Jessi scored because she has gained confidence in her ability to handle hard pressure and committed to taking well placed shots," Llanes said.
Laura Jordan led the team with three ground balls.
The Owls will head back home and prepare to play their first home game of the 2015 season against Winthrop on Tuesday, February 10 at 4 p.m.
