KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is prepared to travel to Macon, Ga. to battle in-state rival Mercer on Friday (Feb. 6) in the first match of a two-match weekend.
The Owls (1-1) look to redeem themselves following a 4-3 loss to Presbyterian on Saturday (Jan. 31) in their home opener.
The match against the Bears is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET in the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
Mercer (2-6) is coming off a pair of 6-1 setbacks to Auburn on Saturday (Jan. 31), after having won two straight matches.
Kennesaw State will wrap up the weekend on Sunday (Feb. 8) at 11 a.m. ET against South Carolina State.
Sophomore
Simon Pritchard is currently leading the Owls with a combined record of 4-0 in singles and doubles play.
The Bulldog's (1-1) come into Sunday's match following a 7-0 victory over Savannah College of Art and Design. The match will take place at Kennworth Park in Acworth, Ga.
