THE OPPONENT:LipscombThe Bisons enter Saturday's regular season finale with an 8-19 overall record and sit in seventh place in A-Sun standings with a 3-10 mark after falling to USC Upstate, 76-67, in their final home contest on Wednesday night. Lipscomb holds a 3-9 record away from Nashville and come into the KSU Convocation Center on a eight-game losing streak that dates back to Jan. 29. The Bisons have three players averaging double figures, led by Ashley Southern, who ranks third in the A-Sun with 14.4 points per game. Joining her in double figures is Danay Fothergill with 13.4 points and Chandler Cooper with 10.4 points per contest. Southern also pulls down a team-high 8.4 boards per game, while Emily Eubank has handed out a conference-leading 116 assists on the season. As a team, Lipscomb is allowing opponents to score a conference-high 71.0 points per game, but own the second-highest free throw percentage at 73.9 percent.
THE SERIES:This will be the 19th meeting between the Owls and the Bisons, with KSU holding a 12-6 advantage in the all-time series. Lipscomb earned a 79-61 win in the two teams' earlier meeting this season on Jan. 17 in Nashville, Tenn. Sophomore

NEXT UP:With the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday, the Owls next enter Atlantic Sun Conference Championship play and will travel for its quarterfinal contest on Friday, March 6 with the game time set for 7 p.m. ET. Depending on Saturday's results, KSU will enter the tournament as either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed and will face Northern Kentucky, Jacksonville or USC Upstate.

A-Sun Active Career Points LeaderWells is the active career points leader in the A-Sun after going over the 1,300-point mark earlier this season. She is currently the only active player that has at least 1,350 points, 800 rebounds, 300 assists and 190 steals and has amassed 1,353 points, 827 rebounds, 321 assists and 193 steals as an Owl.

Karly Frye have combined to be two of the best guard duos when it comes to assists and assist-to-turnover ratio, with Wells ranking third in the A-Sun with 103 helpers on the year and Frye sitting sixth with 92 this season.

Aareon Smith is averaging 8.9 points per game in overall action and has upped her average to 9.8 points per contest in A-Sun play, while pouring in 12 points per game and shooting 42.5 percent from the three-throw line and 85.0 percent from the charity stripe in the last seven outings.
