Box Score (XML) | Box Score (PDF) BATON ROUGE, La. – Kennesaw State faced off against No. 23 ranked LSU Tigers to start the Legends Classic in Baton Rouge, LA. The Tigers got the best of the Owls 91-69 in the contest.

To start the game,
Yonel Brown sunk a three to give KSU the lead at 3-2. After LSU went up 12-7, a
Kendrick Ray free throw and a Brown three pointer brought the Owls to within one.

Four minutes later,
Nigel Pruitt hit a layup to keep the Owls within one, and after that LSU ramped up its intensity on the defensive end.

Over the next nine minutes, LSU went on a 24-2 run to take a commanding lead in the first half. The Tigers took a 44-21 lead at halftime.

The Owls came out of the locker room in the second half and scored the first six points before LSU got a basket.

The closest the Owls got in the second half was 16 points, and LSU went on to win 91-69.

Next up, KSU will play in its second game of the Legends Classic at Arizona State on Wednesday, November 18.

We knew it was going to be a tough game coming in here, but I expected us to play a little bit better than we did. It's a learning experience for us. Kendrick Ray led the team with 25 points. In his two games in an Owl uniform, he has averaging 21.0 points per game.

Aubrey Williams came down with 11 rebounds. It's the second game in a row he's had double-digit rebounds as he had 12 against Alabama. Previously, he had 15 rebounds in his career at Toledo.

Nigel Pruitt had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. It is his first double-double of the season.
- The Owls out rebounded LSU 40-37. It's the second game in a row the Owls have out rebounded their opponent.
- KSU had three players in double figures as Ray had 25, Pruitt had 15 and Brown had 11.
