Game PreviewThe Kennesaw State soccer team returns to action this week when it travels to Florida to visit Stetson (Oct. 9) and Florida Gulf Coast (Oct. 11). The Owls open the weekend against the Hatters on Friday at 7 p.m. before closing out the trip with a 1 p.m. contest against FGCU on Sunday.
Both teams that Kennesaw State will face enter this weekend's play with 1-1 records in Atlantic Sun Conference play.
SOC: Owls Dominate HighlandersThe Owls held a 24-6 advantage in shots as they rolled to a 6-1 victory over NJIT in the first meeting between the two programs Saturday (Oct. 3) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Kennesaw State Team Notes• The Owls will make their first A-Sun Conference trip of the season when they visit Stetson on Friday (Oct. 9) at 7 p.m. and Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday (Oct, 11) at 1 p.m.
• The Owls rank first in the A-Sun in six different categories, including leading the league in points per game (6.50), scoring offense (2.42), shots per game (15.83), shots on goal per game (7.67), total goals (29) and total points (78).
• The Owls rank 19th in the nation in scoring offense (2.42), and 20th in the country with 29 goals.

Cassidy Kemp ranks third in the conference in three different categories, including game winning goals (2), goals per game (0.05), and points per game (1.17).
• The Owls currently have two of the top five individual leaders in goals, as Brittany Reed (7) and
Cassidy Kemp (6) rank third and fifth, respectively.
Kemp's six goals also rank in a tie for first in the conference for active players, while Fincher's four scores sit in a tie for third.

• The Owls defeated NJIT for the first-ever sporting event between the two schools, as KSU won 6-1 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
