2015: Started in 11 of 19 games she saw action during sophomore season … Scored  one goal and added  two assists for a total of four points … Tallied eight shots on goal this season.

2014: Played in 14 games in her first season as an Owl, starting three contests … Posted five points on two goals and an assist … Registered eight shots, placing two on goal … Had a career night in the Owls’ 5-0 win over Jacksonville in the A-Sun Championship quarterfinal on Oct. 31 with a season-high three points as she registered her first career point, goal and assist … Had a memorable second goal with the game-winner in the Owls’ 1-0 A-Sun Championship semifinal win over Lipscomb on Nov. 7 as she scored in the 107th minute of double overtime to send KSU to the conference championship final. 

PREP CAREER: Mahdi played for Erin Mills club team, who competes in the highest level in Ontario, the Ontario Youth Soccer League, for three years, starting in her sophomore season ... As a current member of the Erin Mills U-21 team, Mahdi has helped lead her club to the Umbro Showcase Tournament as well as the Disney Showcase bronze medalists and the OYSL West League champions ... A member of Brams United during her freshmen year, she led her squad to a South Region Soccer League (SRSL) championship before switching to Erin Mills ... Competed for her high school, Queen's Collegiate, during her freshman and sophomore years and received MVP honors following both seasons as well as earning the Rogers Athlete of the Week accolade. 

PERSONAL: Born on May 3, 1995 ... Daughter of Saida Nur ... Has five siblings, Ahmed, Mahdi, Sahra, Hussein and Mohamed ... Majoring in exercise and health science in the College of Health and Human Services.
