THE MATCHES:
The Kennesaw State volleyball team travels to Radford, Va. this weekend to take part in the La Quinta Inn and Suites Highlander Invitational, facing Eastern Kentucky, North Carolina A&T and Radford.
KSU makes its first appearance under the direction of head coach Keith Schunzel on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET, facing off against EKU before taking on N.C. A&T at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and closing out the weekend against the host team Radford at 5:30 p.m.

The Colonels are looking to bounce back from a 5-11 season in which the team won just one road match out of 12.

Arguably one of the top teams the Owls will face in the tournament, the host Highlanders are coming off of a .500 year but return loads of talent to the court.

KSU remains on the road following the weekend in Radford, heading to Southeastern Conference opponent Ole Miss to take part in the Magnolia Invitational on Sept. 6-7, facing Ole Miss, Arkansas State and rival Georgia Southern.

Six straight road matches await the Owls to start off the year before the team makes its home debut on Sept. 30 against Samford.

Hosting the A-Sun Tournament
For the first time in progam history, the Owls will host the A-Sun Postseason Tournament at the KSU Convocation Center.

Metroka Setting the Standard
Metroka looks to extend her school record in career assists after combining for 3,210 in her first three seasons. Metroka has also set single-season school records for assists each year she has played.

Pedraza Anchors the Defense
Pedraza took over the top spot in the school record book with 1,194 career digs as the anchor of the KSU defense.
