KENNESAW, Ga. – Free admission, free t-shirts and Family Fun Fridays are just some of the great season-long promotions for the Kennesaw State volleyball program's 13 home matches, it was announced on Thursday by the Department of Athletics.
Â
It all starts off on Sept. 20 with Luau Night, where students can come out and enjoy free food and a lei necklace prior to the 7 p.m. match against USC Upstate. Decades night will take place on Oct. 4 with fans encouraged to dress in their favorite decade with the best dressed in attendance winning a price.
Â
Oct. 5 will be Youth Day at the KSU Convocation Center as well as Camper Reunion Day as the team invites those who attended KSU volleyball summer camps to return for the match against North Florida. All kids are also invited to attend a post-match clinic held by the team.
Â
The Owls will play their annual Pink Match on Oct. 25, as the team will don pink in support of the fight against breast cancer. For fans, there will be face painting and sign making stations throughout the Convocation Center.
Â
Halloween Night takes place on Oct. 26 with a costume contest for fans and free candy for all handed out by our very own Scrappy throughout the match.
Â
It all wraps-up on Nov. 16 for Senior Day as the Owls bid farewell to Camille Pedraza, Sara Metroka, Emily Bean and Aneisha Christie with a ceremony prior to first serve. The match will also double as BEAT MERCER day as the Bears come to town for the rivalry match.
Â
Fans unable to attend a specific match can still enjoy the free t-shirts for every ace and intermission games between the second and third sets all season long.
