THE MATCH:
The Kennesaw State volleyball team enters the Atlantic Sun Conference Postseason Tournament as the sixth seed, taking on Lipscomb this Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. ET in the first round of action in the KSU Convocation Center.
 
The Owls enter the match at 13-15 overall after having won three out of their last four matches while the No. 3 seeded Bison arrive at 21-7 on the year.

THE OPPONENT:
LIPSCOMB
Lipscomb enters the first round matchup as one of the hottest teams in the A-Sun at 21-7 and 15-3 in the league standings. The Bison also bring into the match the league's Player of the Year in Jewell Dobson.
Last Meeting: Lipscomb won, 3-0, on Nov. 1, 2013
 
LAST TIME OUT
On Senior night at the Convocation Center, the Kennesaw State volleyball team beat in-state rival Mercer in a thrilling five-set match (26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-11) to close out the regular season.
 
Seniors 
Emily Bean, 
Aneisha Christie, 
Camille Pedraza, and 
Sara Metroka came up with one big play after another when the team needed them most. Bean finished the match with a double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs, Pedrazza finished with 29 digs, and Metroka having 54 assists with 22 of those coming in the second set.
NEXT UP:
KSU will await its fate in the A-Sun Tournament with the semifinal match taking place on Friday, Nov. 22.

Home Court
The Owls hold an impressive 10-3 record when playing at home in the KSU Convocation Center.
 
Freshman of the Year
Freshman Kelly Marcinek was named the A-Sun Freshman of the Year after earning 378 kills during the regular season.
Metroka's Milestones
KSU senior setter 
Sara Metroka had a record-breaking week, becoming the school's all-time sets played leader while earning her 4,000th career assist.
Double-Doubles
Toure Hopkins has been a double-double machine for the Owls, earning six on the year after yet another double-figure performance against Mercer in which she totaled 17 kills and 16 digs during the win.
 
Bean's Aces
With two aces in the final match before the A-Sun Tournament, senior Emily Bean became the school's all-time record holder in service aces with 80.
