THE MATCH:
The Kennesaw State volleyball team will host in-state rival Mercer this Saturday, Nov. 16, in what is the final Atlantic Sun Conference regular season match for both teams as the Owls look to lock up a spot in the A-Sun Postseason Tournament.

First serve is set for 3 p.m. ET and is available on ESPN3 with the match also serving as Senior Day as the Owls bid farewell to
Emily Bean,
Sara Metroka,
Aneisha Christie and
Camille Pedraza. Fans in attendance are also encouraged to wear their gold for the gold-out game.

THE OPPONENT:
MERCER
The Bears head into Kennesaw, Ga. for their last ever contest as a member of the A-Sun, struggling with a 1-26 overall record and a 0-17 mark in the league standings.
During the last meeting between the two squads it was KSU that came out on top, winning it in five sets down in Macon, Ga.
Last Meeting: KSU won, 3-2, on Oct. 19, 2013
NEXT UP:
The Owls will await their fate to see where they fall in the final A-Sun rankings with the postseason tournament taking place in the KSU Convocation Center on Nov. 21-23.
NEWS AND NOTES:
Starting Strong
When the team wins the first set they are 11-1 on the year with the one loss coming against Radford. When the team wins the first two sets they are 10-0. Four of those matches went five sets.

Going the Distance
The Owls currently lead the Atlantic Sun Conference in five-set matches played with seven and hold a 4-3 record in matches that go the distance so far this season.
Metroka's Milestones
KSU senior setter
Sara Metroka had a record-breaking week, becoming the school's all-time sets played leader while earning her 4,000th career assist.
Double-Doubles
Toure Hopkins has been a double-double machine for the Owls, earning five on the year after yet another double-figure performance against Florida Gulf Coast in which she totaled 11 digs and 10 kills during the win.

Killing the Competition
Freshman Kelly Marcinek continues to be one of the top hitters in the A-Sun, sitting at sixth overall with 368 kills, the most of any freshmen in the conference.
