Saw her first action in a Kennesaw uniform, playing in 18 matches and 29 sets as an outside hitter… Tallied five kills, seven digs and one block… Had a pair of two kill games against William and Mary (8/28) and Jackson State (9/16).

Two-sport athlete in high school, also competing in the high jump at Northview High School...Helped guide her volleyball squad to the Region 6-AAAAA Championship and the Class AAAAA Final Four in 2009 and to the 2008 Class AAAAA State Championship.

Born in 1992, Dominique is one of three children of Cynthia and Eric Simmons...Has two brothers (Derek - 24; Kevin - 15)...Her brother Derek played college baseball at Georgia State, earning All-Colonial Athletic Association Honors for two seasons...Dominique plans to major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.
