Played at University of Maryland-Baltimore County, seeing action in 77 sets and 23 out of 26 matches...Named America East Conference Second-Team after leading the Retrievers in kills with 234 and kills per set with 3.04...Finished second on the squad in digs with 197, averaging 2.56 per match...Helped UMBC reach the America East Conference semifinals, leading the team with 11 digs in the final match of the year against Albany (11/20)...Set a career and season-high with 22 kills against cross-town rival Towson in a 3-1 win (9/29)...Earned back-to-back double-doubles in the final two home matches of the year, recording 14 kills and 11 digs against Albany (11/6), and 10 kills and 10 digs against Hartford (11/7)...Recorded a third-straight double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs at New Hampshire (11/15).

2008
At UMBC, named 2008 America East Rookie of the Year after winning Rookie of the Week honors a conference-record eight times...Also named to the America East All-Conference Second Team...Played in all 31 matches for the Retrievers, starting 30...Led the team with 319 kills and was second with 317 digs...Earned 11 double-doubles on the year, including a 19-dig, 17-kill effort against Eastern Michigan (8/30), both season highs… Led the team with 44 service aces on the year...Had a string of four straight double-digit kill outings from (10/26-11/7).

Prep
A three-time All-State volleyball player for Deep Run High School in Richmond, Va....Helped the Wildcats to back-to-back state titles in 2006 and 2007 and a runner-up finish in 2005...Named the Virginia Player of the Year, Gatorade Player of the Year for Virginia, DigitalSports.com Girls Volleyball Player of the Year, AVCA All-American and Colonial District Co-Player of the Year in 2007...Holds the Virginia state records for most digs in a season, career, and match...Also played for the RVC 17 National Club team, which finished third at the 2007 USAV Nationals and was selected to the USAV All-Tournament Team...An honor roll student all four years at Deep Run.
