Rebecca Nolin

Rebecca Nolin enters her third season as an assistant coach under women’s soccer Head Coach Rob King this season. Nolin brings years of collegiate and professional soccer experience to the Black and Gold, and her time as a part of Kennesaw State soccer makes her an invaluable member of the staff. Her main focuses continue to be on in-state recruiting and team conditioning.

Nolin, formerly Rebecca Hall, scored a total of 16 goals, including four game winners, and had 11 assists during her four letter-winning years with the Owls (2003-06). She excelled at both the Division I and II levels, as she received NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region and First Team All-Peach Belt honors in 2003 during her freshman campaign and All-Atlantic Sun Conference First-Team accolades during her senior year in 2006. Her freshman season was a memorable one, as she was a part of the Owls’ 2003 NCAA Division II national championship squad. She would serve as the team’s captain later on in her career.

Nolin spent 2007-2009 with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the United Soccer League before joining the Atlanta Beat of the Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) league for their inaugural season in 2010. She made history on May 29, 2010 when she scored the first goal at the KSU Soccer Stadium in the club’s history.  The following season, Nolin returned to the Silverbacks and helped lead the team to its first W-League title in franchise history, while also producing a goal and three assists during the 2011 campaign.

Born in Hong Kong, Nolin is a native of England, where she honed her soccer skills as a youth. She served as captain of the Chelsea Ladies Football Club in 2001, and played for several years at the Princess Margaret Royal Free School.

Nolin received her degree in Sport Management from Kennesaw State. She currently resides with her husband, Matt, in nearby Acworth.
