Erika Eipp

Erika Eipp has joined Kennesaw State's women's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach on Monday, August 7.

"I'm both excited and honored to join the Kennesaw State program," Eipp said. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such passionate and knowledgeable coaches that utilize state of the art resources and facilities to help create success on and off the field for student-athletes."

Last season, Eipp was an assistant coach for Yale where she helped the Bulldogs set records for goals, points and draw controls in a season.

"I'm excited for Erika to join our staff," Laura Maness said. "Her primary responsibilities will include offensive strategy and player skill development. She was an extraordinary athlete, who brings practical knowledge and will make our student-athletes better on and off the field."

An All-American attacker at UMass, Eipp finished her career second on UMass' career points (229) and assists (114) lists. She led the Minutewomen to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including a quarterfinal appearance in 2016 that was part of a 20-2 season.

Eipp was a second team IWLCA All-American as a senior in 2016. She was selected IWLCA All-Region and the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season, and was a first team All-Atlantic 10 pick along with earning ECAC All-Star status. She led UMass in scoring with 97 points (second-most in school history) on 42 goals and 55 assists (setting the Atlantic 10 record) while starting all 22 games. That was her second straight season leading the team in scoring.

She is originally from Townsend, Massachusetts.
