Appeared in 13 games and started six games at linebacker ... Amassed 81 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception ... Recorded three games of double-digit tackles ... Burst onto the scene in his first career start against UTEP (Oct. 28), recording a team-leading 12 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble ... Awarded Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance ... Intercepted the first pass of his career against New Mexico State (Nov. 8) ... Earned nine tackles with a tackle for loss against Jax State (Nov. 15) ... Led the Owls in tackles with 11 against Missouri State (Nov. 22), also adding on 0.5 sacks... Reached the 12 tackle mark for the second time on the season against Liberty (Nov. 29) ... Put up six solo tackles and a sack as well...
