Weston Gillespie was hired as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach for football in January of 2024. He arrives to Kennesaw State after serving as the head strength and conditioning coach at Reinhardt University.
Gillespie served at Reinhardt since May of 2022 and was responsible for the programming and training for all sports. He oversaw the weight room and scheduling for all 23 of the school's intercollegiate sports.Â
Prior to Reinhardt, Gillespie served as a football strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Georgia State University.Â
He has also fulfilled strength and conditioning internships at Clemson, Texas Tech and Appalachian State.
Gillespie graduated from Appalachian State with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.
