A veteran sportscaster, Alexander enters his seventh year with Kennesaw State and his 15th year broadcasting in the Division 1 ranks. He serves as the play-by-play voice across KSU athletics on ESPN platforms and radio broadcasts, hosts the Owl Nation Live, and provides content for KSU’s social media channels and website. In addition, he supervises the communications, video, and creative units of the athletic department, and mentors students in the Owl Network internship program.

A native of Buford, Ga. and 2014 graduate of Georgia Tech, Alexander began his broadcasting career calling Georgia Tech baseball from 2011-14 on the flagship station WREK Atlanta. In 2015, won a GABBY award for best play-by-play following his third year with WDUN out of Gainesville, Ga.

Alexander started a full-time career in collegiate athletics following a season as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the Missoula Osprey. He began at Jacksonville University, where he announced Dolphin contests and worked in the communications department from 2015-17.

He was named the Director of Broadcast Media at Bethune-Cookman in May 2017, where his first assignment was calling the Wildcats’ appearance in the Gainesville Regional, highlighted by BCU’s first ever win against Florida. As the “Voice of the Wildcats,” he called football, basketball, baseball and more across the CatEye Network and WELE 1380. His “Hail Mary McLeod Bethune” call was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10. He also served as the communications contact for BCU’s men’s basketball and baseball teams.

Alexander served as a play-by-play broadcaster and host at ESPN Wide World of Sports from 2018-21, where he broadcasted a variety of national championship tournaments, collegiate postseason events, and hosted television shows.

Since his arrival at KSU, he has served as a broadcaster, content creator and host, and led communications for football, soccer, softball, and women’s golf.
