Johnny Rupp

Johnny Rupp joins Kennesaw State as a Graduate Sports Performance Coach for football. He has previously held sports performance internships at the University of Florida and Ohio Northern University. 

While at the University of Florida, Rupp worked directly with the Gator's football program and oversaw the application of modified training programs for injured athletes. He also assisted with UF summer camps and was responsible for developing strength and conditioning programs for other sports outside of football. 

Rupp graduated from Ohio Northern University (May '22) with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. While at ONU, he was an intern coach for the strength and conditioning department. Rupp's sport assignments consisted of football, men's and women's soccer, softball, and lacrosse. 

The Ohio native was a member of the ONU Dean's List and also received the Clyde A. Lamb Exercise Physiology Scholarship. Rupp was a four-year football letterman while in college and was the Ohio Athletic Conference's leading tackler in 2021.
