Dakota Rushing joined KSU as an assistant sport performance coach for football in April of 2022.
Rushing came to KSU from the University of West Alabama. He was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2020-22 where he assisted with the football program. He primarily worked with the volleyball, track and field, and men’s and women’s soccer programs. He was an intern in the strength and conditioning department at UWA from January 2019 to August 2020.
Rushing graduated from West Alabama in 2015 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He received a master’s degree in exercise science from Tennessee Tech in 2018 and is set to graduate with a master’s in physical education from West Alabama in May of 2022.
