Biography

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2024)
Played in nine games and started in one for the Owls on the defensive line … earned six total tackles on the season with his season-high (2) coming against UTSA … earned two tackles for loss on the season.  

As a Sophomore (2023)
Played in three games on the defensive line ... tallied a career high five tackles (two solo) with 0.5 tackles for loss in the win against Lincoln (Oct. 28).

As a Freshman (2022)
Played in three games.

High School
Played at Gulf Shores High School for head coach Mark Hudspeth … as a senior, was selected as the Defensive Big Man of the Year … registered 36 total tackles and 8.5 sacks … forced three fumbles and posted one fumble recovery … recorded one safety … also added eight receptions for 164 yards and caught two touchdown passes … in his junior campaign, was an all-county honorable mention.

Personal 
Is the son of Rodney Taylor Sr. and Sheree Taylor … has one sister, Khloe … plans to major in sports medicine.
