Biography

As a Junior (2024)
Played in 12 games for the Owls and started in nine of them at defensive back … was third on the team in total tackles (62) and earned four tackles for loss … earned his only sack of the season against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 30) … had a season-high 12 tackles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 4) while also recovering a fumble against the Gamecocks … had one forced fumble against UTSA (Aug. 31) forced one pass breakup on the season against San Jose State (Sept. 14). 

As a Sophomore (2023)
Saw action in all nine games ... recorded three tackles on the season.

As a Freshman (2022)
Played in five games ... made five total tackles including two each against #15 UT Martin and Austin Peay.

High School
Played under head coach Richard Morgan at Marietta High School … as a senior, led the Blue Devils to a Sweet 16 appearance in the GHSA state playoffs … was an all-region selection … recorded 40 tackles, five pass break-ups, two interceptions and one fumble recovery … in his junior season, was named to the all-region team … posted 30 tackles, five pass breakups and one interception … also rushed for six touchdowns and returned one kickoff for a touchdown … won the GHSA 7A State Championship as a sophomore … scored four rushing touchdowns … had 15 tackles and three pass break-ups on defense.

Is the son of Milon Jones and Marnie Stampley ... has one sister, Mia Jones ... plans to major in kinesiology.
