Started all five games … finished the season with 35 tackles, two fumble recoveries and a half a sack … had eight tackles and two fumble recoveries vs Shorter (Feb. 27) … registered five tackles and a forced fumble vs Charleston Southern (March 13) … posted eight tackles vs Dixie State and five vs Robert Morris … had 10 tackles and a half a sack at Monmouth (April 10).

Played in 12 games and made eight starts for the No. 3 total defense in the country … finished second on the team with 56 tackles … added 10.0 tackles for loss to rank third on the team … recorded at least one tackle in all 12 games he played and had five-plus tackles in seven contests … forced a fumble in the final game of the regular season against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 23) … had a season-high seven tackles at Alabama State (Sept. 14) … registered six tackles against No. 11 Wofford (Nov. 30) in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs and added five stops at No. 2 Weber State (Dec. 7) the following week …  posted a sack in the season-opener against Point University (Aug. 31).

Shorter  University
Appeared in 18 total games in two years at Shorter … after appearing in just seven games his freshman year, recording 13 tackles (six solo) and 1.0 tackles-for-loss, he appeared in 11 games his sophomore year … broke out to post 91 total tackles (51 solo) and an impressive 10.0 tackles-for-loss for 59 yards … also nabbed two forced fumbles (one recovered) and two pass breakups … also grabbed four sacks for 29 yards.

High School
Attended South Effingham High School … was the second-ranked linebacker in the region in 2016, recording 82 total tackles – 57 solo … finished with 182 career tackles (114 solo) in three years … recorded 8.0 tackles-for-loss his senior season after averaging 7.5 tackles per game … also nabbed a sack for 5 yards his senior year … posted 67 tackles (44 solo) his sophomore season (6.7/game) and 8.0 tackles-for-loss … appearing in just nine games his freshman year, he tallied 32 tackles (13 solo) … became a two-way player his final two seasons … totaled 236 yards of rushing on 50 carries, averaging 7.9 yards/game and 4.7 yards/carry … scored seven career rushing touchdowns (six his senior season).
