As a Junior (2017)
Started all 14 games as the Owls’ top receiver … led the team in receptions with 33 on the year, ranking sixth in the Big South … led the team and ranked fourth in the conference in reception yards with 610 (43.6/game) … hauled in a team-best five touchdown passes to finish fourth in the league, including a 55-yarder from Chandler Burks at the end of the first half against Tennessee Tech (Sept. 9) to put the Owls on TTU’s 3-yard line and set up another Burks-Sumpter connection (3-yard TD pass) two plays later to score with four seconds remaining … the 55-yarder tied for the seventh-longest pass completion in school history … averaged 18.5 yards per catch and 43.6 yards per game at just 2.4 receptions per contest … tied his career high when he caught two passes for two touchdowns in the first round of the FCS Playoffs against Samford (Nov. 25) … recorded 75-plus receiving yards three times on the year, including a season-best 92 against Texas Southern (Oct. 7) that featured a 44-yard reception on the day.

As a Sophomore (2016)
Appeared in eight games for the Owls, making seven starts at the wide out position ... missed three games due to an injury ... led the Owls with 31 receptions for 538 yards and eight touchdowns ... his eight TDs led all Big South wide receivers…Totaled a career-high 187 yards on eight catches and two scores at Duquesne ... hauled in at least one touchdown in six of his eight games played in ... ranked first for receiving touchdowns in the Big South ... ranked second in the Big South for receiving yards ... ranked fourth on the team in total offense ... led the Owls in receiving (538 yards) ... had a career game at Duquesne (Sept. 24), hauling in a career-high 187 yards (also single-game program record) and two touchdowns ... earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts at Duquesne ... followed that with a 147 yard performance on six catches at Furman (Oct. 1) ... scored 12 points in two games (at Duquesne, vs. Point).

Played and started in all 11 games for the Owls in their inaugural season ... ranked sixth in the country in yards per reception, averaging 20.2 yards per catch ... totaled three or more catches of 46 yards or more ... led the Owls with 26 receptions, which was 17 clear of the next teammate ... ranked first on the team with 525 receiving yards and a team-high four touchdown catches ... averaged 47.7 receiving yards per game ... ranked sixth in the Big South Conference in reception yards ... totaled four games of 60 or more receiving yards ... compiled the first wide out to total over 100 yards in a single game ... produced 96 yards on two catches and a TD in KSU’s inaugural football game at ETSU (Sept. 3) ... compiled a career-high 121 receiving yards on five catches versus Shorter (Sept. 19) ... pulled in five catches for 70 yards in the Owls’ first Big South victory in program history versus Gardner-Webb (Oct. 17) ... totaled a touchdown and 50 yards at Coastal Carolina (Nov. 14) ... hauled in KSU’s first touchdown pass from Trey White, a 69-yard TD in the third quarter at ETSU (Sept. 3) ... pulled in a 55-yard touchdown pass from Trey White in KSU’s first home offensive play in the home inaugural game versus Edward Waters (Sept. 12).
