Played at Lithonia High School under head coach Kevin Hill … as a senior, compiled 144.5 tackles and 33 tackles-for-loss … forced five fumbles and registered one sack for the Bulldogs … was an all-state and all-region selection … named the DeKalb County Defensive Player of the Year …  in his junior season, recorded 68 tackles and 23 tackles-for-loss … was an All-Region 5AAAAA selection … in his sophomore campaign, posted 33 tackles and was named to the all-region team.
