Hawkins is in his first season with Kennesaw State as a defensive graduate assistant. Prior to his time with the Owls, he served as the defensive line assistant coach at Dayton contributing to the development of the top FCS defense in 2024.  

He graduated from Notre Dame in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications.Â
