Darron Paschal is an accomplished football coach who arrives ta KSU with a strong background in player development, strategic game planning, and recruitment. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology from Wofford College, where he was a standout defensive back and team captain. He continued his education at North Greenville University, earning a master’s degree in organizational leadership while serving as a Defensive Graduate Assistant.
During his tenure at North Greenville University from 2021 to 2023, Paschal played a pivotal role in developing one of the top defenses in the Gulf South Conference. He was instrumental in recruiting talented athletes and coaching standout players, including Kendrick Clark Jr., the GSC Defensive Freshman of the Year.
In early 2023, Paschal continued his coaching journey at Emory and Henry College, leading the defensive backs unit to a nation-leading 21 interceptions. Under his mentorship, Tj Payne and Jarell Harrison excelled, becoming conference leaders in interceptions and pass breakups, respectively.
His experience extends to the professional level with internships with the Edmonton Elks of the CFL. He gained valuable insights into professional team dynamics, player evaluation, and strategic planning.
