Biography

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 14 games as the Owls’ punter splitting time with Nicholas Jones … averaged 39.3 yards per punt … tied for sixth in the conference in number of punts with 24 … boomed the second-longest punt in school history when he knocked a 59-yarder against No. 3 Jacksonville State (Dec. 2) in the second round of the FCS Playoffs … of his 24 punts, nine were fair-caught (37.5 percent) … en route to three 50-plus-yarders, his punts traveled 944 yards (more than a half-mile), good for seventh in the Big South … pinned the opposing offense inside their own 20-yard line five times on the season … boomed a season-high 130 yards off three punts (43.3/punt) against North Greenville (Sept. 30) … reached 90 yards punting in five total games … sent three punts down field for 99 total yards against Gardner-Webb (Oct. 21) … punted 97 and 98 yards in the Owls’ first two FCS Playoff games in program history against Samford (Nov. 25) and Jacksonville State, respectively.

2016 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 11 games as a true freshman… Posted solid numbers as the team's primary punter... Booted 32 punts for 1,306 yards… Averaged 40.8 yards per punt… His career-long of 61 yards versus Presbyterian (Nov. 12)... Downed 10 punts inside the 20 yard line… Logged 22 kickoffs for 1,308 yards… Averaged 59.5 yards per kick, including four touchbacks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lexington High School in Lexington, S.C…Appeared in 41 games during three-year career…Handled both placekicking and punting responsibilities during junior and senior campaigns…Team special teams Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior . . .
