Joey's Journey to the Natty

 

Kennesaw State Athletics is proud to announce KSU alumnus Joey Stone as the winner of the College Football 25 Championship Challenge. In the year 2026 of his Dynasty Mode with the Owls, Joey secured a back-to-back Conference USA crown and rolled on to the National Championship and defeated Stanford, 27-16.

By winning the event, Joey will received KSU x CFB25 branded gear and an exclusive gameday experience at a Kennesaw State football home game this fall!

Kennesaw State football posted 48 wins in its first five seasons of competition, becoming the first DI program to achieve the feat and earning the title of 

‘Best Start-Up Program in College Football History.'

KSU is also the ONLY Division I start-up program to have three-straight 11-win seasons in its first five seasons of action.

The Owls averaged 297.3 rushing yards per game in their FCS era (2015-23), the BEST mark of any FCS school in that span.

Kennesaw State football spent 56.4% of its eligible time in the FCS on a Top 25 poll and received votes for a top 25 rank in 77.3% of eligible polls since 2015.

The Owls were one of just five FCS teams from 2015-23 to have three seasons of five-or-more road victories.

2024 marks Kennesaw State's 10th season of competition but its first as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Conference USA.

In EA Sports' College Football 25, you can play in the Owls' first FBS game and season before the team does on August 31 at UTSA.
