Welcome to Kennesaw State Football
The 2015 Kennesaw State Football Information Guide is produced to provide information on the Owls for anyone interested in learning more about the program. Media covering Kennesaw State football should review this section in detail to learn about Kennesaw State’s policies and services. 2015 Season Credential Request Form

Fifth Third Bank Stadium Directions
Fifth Third Bank Stadium is located at 3200 George Busbee Parkway NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144 in Kennesaw.
 
Heading North on I-75: Exit Barrett Parkway, turn right and immediately get in your left lane. Turn left onto George Busbee Parkway heading North. Turn right onto Big Shanty and the Department of Labor will be on your right (Across the street from Fifth Third Bank Stadium). (George Busbee Parkway will be closed in front of stadium)
 
Heading South on I-75: Exit Barrett Parkway and turn left. Turn left onto George Busbee Parkway heading North. Turn right onto Big Shanty and the Department of Labor will be on your right (Across the street from Fifth Third Bank Stadium). (George Busbee Parkway will be closed in front of stadium).  

Media Parking
Media parking will be located in the in the Pink Lot. All media reqesting season parking should make their request in writing by Friday, August 7. Parking passes along with season credentials will be mailed out in advance. All media must have a parking pass prior to game day to park in the Pink Lot.

MEDIA POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Weekly Press Opportunity
Kennesaw State head coach Brian Bohannon and selected players will meet with the media during scheduled times each week. Schedule information will be added to this page once times have been established. Requests for specific players should be made to the Athletics Communications Office on Sunday afternoon prior to the press opportunity.

Weekly Teleconference
Head Coach Brian Bohannon will take part in a weekly Big South Teleconference every Tuesday during the season from 11:30 - 11:40 a.m. All media is invited to call-in and are encouraged to contact the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications for the call-in number. 
 
Interviews
All interview requests for Brian Bohannon, any Kennesaw State assistant coaches and players must be coordinated through the Athletics Communications office.
 
Players are available for interviews, either in person or on the phone, before or after practice Monday through Wednesday. In order to arrange for player interviews, please provide 24 hours advance notice to the Athletics Communications Office. Player interviews may be conducted in the inside the coaches office at 3380 Town Pointe Road, at The Perch or in the Athletics Communications Office. The Kennesaw State training room, football locker room, weight room and meeting rooms are off-limits to the media. Your cooperation is appreciated.
 
For telephone interviews, the student-athlete will be provided with the number and will make the call at a mutually-agreed upon time. Phone numbers of student-athletes will not be made available to the media.
 
For interviews with head coach Brian Bohannon and/or Kennesaw State assistant coaches, please contact Al Barba or Jake Dorow in the Athletics Communications Office. Coach Bohannon's availability will be announced at a later date.
 
Practice Coverage
Practice may be closed or moved without notice. Please contact the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications Office if you plan on attending practice so that we may confirm the day's practice schedule.
 
Still photographs and video may be shot during selected segments of practice by approved agencies. After that time, photographers will be asked not to shoot. Media are asked to remain on the sidelines or in designated areas during practice, and are asked not to speak to players or coaches during the workout. All photographers and camera people will be asked to stop shooting at the conclusion of Period 4. Interviews with coaches and requested players will occur at the conclusion of practice. Media is asked to remain on the sideline until head coach Brian Bohannon has concluded addressing the team.

Updated statistics, game recaps, weekly and daily releases, press conference transcripts, player and coaches' bios, historical, broadcast and ticket information, can be found on the Kennesaw State Official Athletics Website at www.KSUOwls.com. Media are encouraged to check the website regularly for the latest KSU athletics news.
 
Video Services
Requests for video footage of Owls football should be made to Al Barba or Jake Dorow in the Athletics Communications Office. They will work with KSU video director Matt Sims and his staff to fill specific requests. Please allow a minimum of three days lead time for video requests.
 
Accessing Information
In addition to the Kennesaw State Athletics website (www.KSUOwls.com), the latest news, weekly releases, updated depth charts, rosters and season and single game statistics can be sent on a daily or weekly basis via e-mail. Contact Al Barba or Jake Dorow to request to be added to the football e-mail list.
 
GAME DAY COVERAGE
Credential Requests

All requests/questions for media, photo and parking credentials for 2015 Kennesaw State football home games should be made to Al Barba (470-578-7837, abarba@kennesaw.edu) in the Athletics Communications Office at 590 Cobb Avenue, MD 0201, Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Only media who cover the Owls on a regular basis will be considered for season credentials. A lost season credential will result in that member of the media being moved to the single-game list.

2015 Season Credential Request Form
 
All single-game requests should be made at least one week in advance to help ensure space availability both in the press box and on the field. Requests for media covering a visiting team for a Kennesaw State home game should be made through the opposing school’s football media relations contact. Credentials will be available for pick up at Media Will Call located on the West side of Fifth Third Bank Stadium the day of the game unless other arrangements are made. Media should consult KSUOwls.com/media for complete media and credential policies.All requests for media, radio, television, photography, scouting and parking credentials for the 2015 Kennesaw State Football season, or for any individual game, should be made in writing, on company letterhead or via e-mail (company name in address). 

Will Call
Any media credentials not picked up during the week in the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications Office will be available at Press Will Call beginning three hours prior to the game. Will Call is located on the west side of Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Media Will Call
Media Will Call is located on the west side of Fifth Third Bank Stadium. It will open four hours before kickoff and remain open through the conclusion of the first quarter. Identification is required to pick up credentials or tickets. Parking passes cannot be left at will call. Media who arrive after the end of the first quarter should call the press box to obtain their credentials.
 
Photo Requests
Media Requests for photos can be made through the Athletics Communications Office by contacting Al Barba at (470) 578-7837 or email at abarba@kennesaw.edu.
 
Photographers
Photo credentials will be distributed in advance and available for pick-up on gamedays at Media Will Call located on the west side of Fifth Third Bank Stadium. NCAA rules limit shooting to outside the restraining line enclosing the playing field and outside the 25-yard lines (team area). In addition, photographers and videographers are welcome to use the interview room located underneath the stage at the north end of the stadium. Photographers should enter through the door on the west side.
 
Photographer Work Room
A photographer work room has been established in the interview room located underneath the stage at the northwest end of the stadium. Photographers should enter through the door on the west side. Power and internet access are available, as well as limited table space on a first-come, first-served basis. Pregame meals and drinks are available in the interview room.
 
Access to the internet is available through both wireless and ethernet connections. Contact a member of the Athletics Communications staff on gameday to obtain a username and password for wireless access. No password is necessary for ethernet connections.
 
Press Box Services
The press box is located on the west side of Fifth Third Bank Stadium and opens three hours prior to game time.
 
Meals will be served beginning two hours before game time until kickoff. Sodas will be available throughout the game and snacks are served at halftime.
 
Game notes, programs, a flip card and statistics will be provided prior to the game. Play-by-play and quick statistics, final team, individual and defensive statistics, drive charts and coaches' quotes also will be provided. Complete sets of information will be available approximately 20 minutes after the game.
 
Telephones/Fax Machines
Additional requests for telephone lines should be directed to Al Barba. Kennesaw State will provide a FAX machine for complimentary use on a first-come, first-served basis. KSU will e-mail (preferred) or fax stats and other post-game information as requested.

Internet Access
Both wireless and ethernet connections are available in the press box and field-level photographer work area. Contact a member of the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications staff on gameday to obtain a username and password for wireless access. No password is necessary for ethernet connections.
 
Visiting Radio/Television Broadcasts
Booth space in the Fifth Third Bank Stadium press box will be allocated by the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications Office. Visiting SIDs will designate their official radio stations in writing and Kennesaw State will supply phone lines on a reciprocal basis in that booth. Entities which wish to telecast home contests from Fifth Third Bank Stadium should send their request, in writing, to Al Barba.
 
Sidelines
Kennesaw State follows guidelines set forth by the NCAA Public Relations Committee, the NCAA Football Rules Committee, the American Football Coaches Association and the National Press Photographers Association. Photographers are not permitted between the 25-yard lines and must have credentials visible at all times. Photographers are required to go behind the team benches to pass from one end of the field to the other.
 
Uniformed security personnel will patrol the sidelines and anyone holding a media pass who is not actively involved in coverage of the game will be escorted from the sideline. Children under 12 will not be issued media or sideline credentials. Similar procedures will be in effect in the press box.
 
Post-Game Interviews
The Kennesaw State locker room is located below the East stands near the North End Zone. The interview room is located under the stage at the northwest End Zone. The visitor's locker room is located below the East stands near South End Zone.
 
Owls head coach Brian Bohannon and requested players will be available in the post game interview approximately 10 minutes after the game. Kennesaw State's locker room is closed.
 
The SID of the visiting school will establish admittance policies to the visiting locker room.
 
Credential Regulations
All space for the working press, radio and television for Kennesaw State Football games is allocated by the Kennesaw State Athletics Communications Office, which reserves the right to deny credentials to any outlet. Freelance and/or non-daily writers may be asked to produce copies of actual publications in which their work has appeared. Seating in the press box at Fifth Third Bank Stadium is for working media and scouts only.
 
Press credentials will be issued to working press only. Press credentials are not transferable and use by anyone other than members of the working media is prohibited. Press credentials used in an unauthorized manner will be revoked. News organizations allowing unauthorized individuals to use credentials will have their credentials revoked. All press credentials remain the property of the Kennesaw State Athletic Department and must be returned upon request. Credentials will NOT be mailed.
