KENNESAW, Ga. – Senior guard Kendrick Perry, scored a game-high 31 points, including 17 in the first half to lead the Penguins (3-0) to a the victory over Eastern Kentucky during the final day of the Kennesaw State Tournament at the KSU Convocation Center on Sunday.
Kendrick connected on 11 of 19 field goal attempts, including 4-for-9 from behind the three-point arc, while sophomore forward Ryan Weber contributed 17 points and nine rebounds for Youngstown State.
The Colonels (2-1) were led by senior guard Glenn Cosey and sophomore guard Orlando Williams who each scored 12 points. Senior guard Marcus Lewis and junior forward Eric Stutz added 10 points apiece.
