2009-10 Season
Started in eight games for the Owls during his junior season…Ranked 13th in the Atlantic Sun Conference in Three Point Percentage at 35.2%...Notched five double-figure scoring games, including a season-high 19 points in the Owls home win against Lipscomb (12/5), a night in which he was a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor, including 5-for-5 from three-point range…Went 4-for-4 from beyond the arc in the Owls’ upset of Lipscomb in the first round of the A-Sun Tournament, draining three from long distance in the first half…Had a season-high four assists in a game on three different occasions…Played a season-high 37 minutes at Western Michigan (12/19).

2008-09 Season

Played in 29 games and made 27 starts for the Black and Gold … Finished 16th in the A-Sun in scoring … Finished 5th in the conference in 3-Point Field Goal Percentage at 37.9% and was third in the conference in three-pointers per game at 2.28 … Averaged 33.55 minutes per game, good for eighth in the A-Sun … Made the second-most free-throws in a game in the A-Sun when he connected on 13-of-14 foul shots against Clark Atlanta (11/18/08) … Led the Owls in six categories; points, points per game, free-throw percentage, 3-point field goal attempts, 3-pointers made, minutes played … Led the Owls in scoring a team-best 10 times including a KSU season-high and personal career-best 31-points against Clark Atlanta (11/18/09) … Had four of the Owls 20-plus scoring games … Scored 23 points at Mercer (1/29/09), dropped in 22 points at Campbell (1/5/09) and scored 20 points against Florida Gulf Coast (1/18/09) … Was one of three players to average in double figures for the Owls, joining Kurtis Woods and Jon-Michael Nickerson … Led the Owls in rebounds once when he had six rebounds in the Owls 54-50 win at Colgate (11/26/08) … Had Kennesaw state season-high, seven assists versus ETSU (12/23/08) … Topped Kennesaw State in assists nine times.

2007-08 Season
Played in all 30 games for the Owls and made 19 starts including all 16 conference games ... Led the Atlantic Sun Conference 3-point field goal percentage (.407) ... Was also ranked in the Top 10 in the A-Sun in 3-point field goals made (35) and assist/turnover ratio (1.18) ... Ranked 12th in the conference in assists (52) ... Made the biggest shot of his brief collegiate career when he drained the game-winning three-pointer from in front of the Owls bench with 8.1 seconds remaining, lifting the Owls to a victory over Belmont (1/24/08) ... Scored nine points in his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky (11/9/07), shooting 4-for-7 from the field ... Made his first collegiate start at Auburn (11/13/07) scoring two points in 11 minutes ... Had a team-high 11 points at UNLV (12/28/07) ... Led the Owls with three assists versus Minnesota (12/29/07) ... Shot 6-for-13 from the field against Nicholls State (12/30/07) giving him a team-high 19 points, he also had a team-high two steals ... Scored 14 points and blocked one shot against Jacksonville (1/10/08) in 32 minutes ... Had three assists in KSU's win over North Florida (1/12/08) ... Scored 17 points while playing a career-high 40 minutes at Florida Gulf Coast (1/19/08) where he had a team-high six assists and two steals ... Had three assists at Lipscomb (1/26/08) ... Scored a team-high 18 points in the Owls win over Stetson (2/14/08) ... Had a career-high eight assists against Florida Gulf Coast (2/16/08) ... Shot 6-for-10 from the field, scoring a career and team-high 20 points against North Florida (2/21/08) ... Scored in 28 of 30 games during his freshman season including hitting double-digits 15 times ... Was in the team's top five in field goal percentage (.433), field goal attempts (178), field goals made (77), 3-point field goal attempts (124), 3-point field goals made (51), free throw percentage (.857), free throw attempts (49), free throws made (42), points (247), points average (8.2), assists (74), steals (27) and minutes (783) ... Prep Career

McConnell joins the Owls after a successful prep career at Whitefield Academy in Mabelton, Ga. under coach Tyrone Johnson ... Helped lead the Wolfpack to the 2004, 2006, and 2007 1-A State Championship games ... Was named a second team All-State selection and won the Whitefield Academy Cornerstone award after his senior season ... Was selected as the Cobb County Tip-Off Club's Player of the Month in November and December of both 2005 and 2006 ... Averaged 19.4 points, five assists and 2.7 steals per game his senior season ... Earned a First Team All-State selection after his junior season, shooting 52.4 percent from behind the three-point arc.
