Biography

2016 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 11 games, making six starts in the defensive backfield… Also spent time on the special teams unit, totaling two returns for 16 yards – both career highs… Ranked eighth on the team with 33 tackles (26 solo)… Racked up a career-high 12 tackles against Liberty (Oct. 15), which marked a school single-game record... One of five players to record an interception… Ranked third on the team with three pass breakups… Also recorded two quarterback hurries… Tallied seven solo tackles and one pass breakup versus ETSU (Sept. 3)… Recorded his first interception at Furman (Oct. 1).

HIGH SCHOOL: A standout versatile threat at Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Ga. . . . A three-time all-state performer and twice named to All-Middle Georgia Team . . . 2013: 36 tackles, 4 interceptions, 7 offensive TDs, 3 kickoff return TDs . . . Georgia Sportswriters Association (GSWA) and Atlanta Journal-Constitution first team all-state . . .  Region 2-AAAA All-Purpose Player of the Year . . . 2012: GSWA Class-4-AAAA first team all-state defensive back . . .
