Biography

As a Junior (2018)
Appeared in nine games under center during the season, completing 57 percent of his passes and totaling seven touchdowns … went 8-for-14 through the air for 201 yards and two scores … averaged 18.3 yards per pass, including a season-long 43-yard strike in his only attempt against Presbyterian (Oct. 6) … had his best game of the season in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs, going 5-for-11 for 94 yards and one score and nearly leading the Owls to a second-half comeback against SDSU … also tallied 65 yards on the ground with one rushing score against the Jackrabbits in the playoffs … rushed for 206 yards and five touchdowns on the year, averaging 4.6 yards per carry, including a season-long 65-yard scamper against Alabama State (Sept. 15).

As a Sophomore (2017)
Appeared in seven games for the Owls at quarterback … took 56 offensive attempts on the season … with an efficiency rating of 101.8, finished 10-of-19 with his arm, only throwing one interception on the season … threw for 135 yards to average 19.3 per game … rushed for 67 yards on 26 carries … crossed the goal-line in a 1-yard rush at home against North Greenville (Sept. 30) … had a career-high 19 offensive attempts against Alabama State (Sept. 16) – 10 rush, nine pass … in just his third snap against Texas Southern (Oct. 7), completed a season-long 44-yard pass to Justin Sumpter to reach TSU’s 26-yard line.

As a Freshman (2016)
Appeared in nine games for the Owls as a quarterback ... ranked third on the team in total offensive yards with 593 ... completed 18-for-37 passes for 387 yards ... tallied a 161.37 efficiency rating ... recorded four touchdown passes ... recorded 206 rushing yards on 32 carries ... tallied one rushing touchdown and averaged 22.9 yards per game ... rushed for a season-high 64 yards on four carries, including a career-best 28-yard rush versus Point (Sept. 10) ... had a career game at Duquesne (Sept. 24), recording a career-best 172 passing yards on 7-of-10 passing and two TDs ... joined the Owls as a a mid-year transfer from Appalachian State prior to the 2016 season.
