Aaron Anderson begins his third season as a member of the Kennesaw State men’s basketball program . . . Coming off a career year in 2011-12 where he established himself as one of the top players in the Atlantic Sun Conference . . . Ranks sixth all-time in KSU history with 7.6 rebounds per game . . . The mark also ranks third since the program moved to Division I in 2005 and 473 career rebounds are tied for fourth . . . Seventh in the Division I era with 35 blocked shots . . . No. 1 all-time in the Division I era with a 53.4 field goal percentage mark and 211 made field goals rank No. 9.

2011-12: Started all 31 games . . . Averaged 8.9 points and an A-Sun-leading 9.0 rebounds a game . . . Rebound average ranks No. 6 all-time on KSU single-season list and first since the program moved to Division I in 2005 . . . Totaled 280 rebounds to establish a Division I era single-season mark . . . 21 blocked shots are eighth-highest Division I single-season total . . . Contributed 9.8 points and 8.6 rebounds a game during A-Sun play . . . Scored in double digits 15 times and had 14 double-digit rebounding games . . . Collected a conference-high 11 double-doubles . . . Averaged 16.0 points and 11.5 points during a four-game stretch of producing double-doubles . . . Led the Owls in scoring six times and was the team’s top rebounder 20 times . . . Shot a team-high and Division I single-season school record 54.2 percent (123-227) from the field . . . Ranked second on the club with 14 blocked shots . . . Scored 10 points, collected 11 rebounds and totaled a season-high four assists at Saint Mary’s (CA) (12/19) . . . Totaled a career-high 17 rebounds and added 13 points versus Texas A&M Corpus Christi (12/23) . . . Equaled career-high with 17 rebounds and added 17 points on six of 18 shooting versus Jacksonville (1/21) . . . Scored a career-high tying 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds versus North Florida (1/23) . . . Contributed 11 points, 13 rebounds and a season-high three steals at North Florida (2/18).
 
2010-11:
Quickly became a vital part of the Owls’ frontcourt in his first season, playing in all 31 games and starting 29 . . . Averaged 6.5 points and 6.2 rebounds a game . . . Ranked ninth in the A-Sun in rebounding . . . Connected on 52.4 percent of field goal attempts and shot 40.3 percent from the foul line . . . Averaged 5.4 points and 5.7 rebounds a contest during As-Sun play . . . Had three double-doubles (points-rebounds) . . . Posted six double-digit rebounding games and scored in double figures six times . . . Finished second on the team with 193 rebounds . . . Topped the team in rebounding eight times . . . Made collegiate debut in season opener versus Georgia Southwestern (11/12) and scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed six rebounds in 28 minutes . . . Added nine points and 10 rebounds during an 80-63 upset victory over Georgia Tech (11/15) . . . Named A-Sun Newcomer of the Week for performances against Georgia Southwestern and Georgia Tech . . . Recorded his first career double-double at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (12/11), going a 7-for-7 from the floor on the way to a 15-point, 10-rebound performance in 44 minutes of action . . . Had perhaps best game of season at Campbell (1/7), scoring a team-leading 18 points, on 7 of 9 shooting, and adding 15 rebounds . . . Notched third double-double of season at Stetson (1/16), posting 10 points and 10 rebounds . . . Collected a season-high 16 rebounds during 78-71 victory over USC Upstate (1/3).

2009-10: Played for Central Arizona Community College prior to transferring to Kennesaw State . . . Ranked third in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) in rebounds-per-game (10.3), sixth in field goal percentage (60.0 percent), and ninth in blocked shots (1.4) . . .  Rebounding and field goal percentage ranked 21st and 29th, respectively, in the nation . . . Runner-up for  ACCAC Freshman of the Year honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner in basketball and earned four varsity letters in baseball at Marana Mountain View High School. . . Named school’s Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior . . . Selected Southern Arizona’s Player of the Year in basketball as a senior . . Named all-conference in baseball as a junior and senior . . . Also selected All-City as a senior . . . An honor roll student.
