Started all nine game for the Owls at tight end ... finished the season with eight catches for 87 yards ... also tallied 12 rushes for 60 yards and two touchdowns ... set career highs in receptions (3) and receiving yards (45) in the season-opening win against Tusculum (Aug. 31) ... had one catch go for a personal best of 30 yards ... also added two rushes for two yards ... had one rush for 14 yards against Chattanooga (Sept. 9) ... had a one-yard rushing touchdown against Furman (Sept. 16) when he punched the ball in on third and goal ... recorded three carries for eight yards against Charleston Southern (Sept. 29) ... ties his career high with three receptions against Tennessee State (Oct. 7) ... recorded 15 receiving yards in the contest ... caught one pass for a 19-yard gain in the season finale against Virginia-Lynchburg (Nov. 11).

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2022)
Scored the first touchdown of the new season for the KSU offense in the opener at Samford (Sept. 1)... posted 64 rushing yards on eight attempts to average eight yards per carry in the contest ... had one rush go for 26 yards ... led the Owls in rushing with 59 yards and one touchdown in week two at Cincinnati (Sept 10) ... set a new career high with 21 rushing attempts... rushed for 58 yards on eight carries and recorded one touchdown at Jacksonville State (Oct. 1) ... set a new career-high with 80 rushing yards and one touchdown in a win versus Tennessee Tech (Oct. 22) ... had one carry go for a career-long 46-yard rush ... averaged 5.5 yards-per-carry and ran for 71 yards in the season finale at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 19) ... also caught his first career pass for a 19-yard touchdown reception.  

As a Redshirt Freshman (Fall 2021)
Recorded 72 rushing yards on 17 attempts in week three at Wofford (Sept. 18) ... added 35 yards on 13 carries during a week seven win against NC A&T (Oct. 16) ... tallied 30 yards on six carries at Robert Morris (Nov. 6) ... had one carry go for a then career-long of 15 yards ... ran for 44 yards on four attempts during a win versus Monmouth (Nov. 20) in the Big South Championship. 

As a Redshirt Freshman (Spring 2021)
Played in four games, starting in one ... had a nice performance at Monmouth (April 10) with 12 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown ... averaged 4.4 yards per carry and 22.7 yards per game ... did not record any carries for a loss ... retained year of eligibility via "Covid Year."

As a True Freshman (2019)
Played in four games and received a redshirt … had his biggest game of the year at Hampton (Nov. 16) with six carries for 25 yards, including a 9-yard run … registered two carries against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 23).

High School
Played at Washington County High School under head coach Joel Ingram … was a four-year starter and led the Golden Hawks to a 10-3 record as a senior and into the quarterfinals of the GHSA Class AA State Championship … recorded 34 tackles for loss and one interception during his senior campaign … is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-State honors three times.

Son of April Carswell and Willie Daniels, Jr. … has one brother, Willie Daniels III, and one sister, De'nisha … plans to major in sports medicine.
