Played at Frederick Douglass High School under head coach Rodney Cofield … helped lead Douglass to 21 wins during the last two seasons … earned first team All-Region honors as a senior after recording 50 tackles, 13.0 sacks and 8.0 tackles for loss … added two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery to help lead his team to an 11-2 record and to the quarterfinals of the 2019 GHSA state playoffs … named All-Region honorable mention as a sophomore and junior, combining for 26 tackles, 6.0 sacks and 10.0 tackles for loss … is a three-time All-City honoree … named to the Academic Honor Roll … earned Metro Atlanta All-Region honors.
