MOBILE, Ala. – Kennesaw State volleyball suffered its second straight loss Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-18) to Tulane on the second day of the South Alabama Invitational. The loss dropped the Owls to 5-3 on the season.
STAT OF THE GAME: KSU was held to 25 kills and a .102 hitting percentage, while Tulane finished with 41 kills and hit .322.
THE RUNDOWN
Kennesaw State held an early 3-0 advantage in the opening set and stayed close until Tulane broke a 12-12 tie with a 13-3 run to take the frame 25-15.
The Green Wave carried the momentum into the final two sets, taking the second 25-17 before completing the sweep with a 25-18 victory in the third.
NOTES
- Patterson led KSU with nine kills while hitting .250.
- Kaeley Walz posted 12 assists, three digs and two kills on four attempts.
- Alexis Sowers finished with a team-high eight digs, while Ashley Theiss added seven.
- Tulane held a 7-1 advantage in service aces, while the Owls finished with 11 service errors.
