KENNESAW, Ga. – For the first time in conference history the Conference USA Volleyball Championship will be coming to the state of Georgia, as Kennesaw State has been selected to host the 2027 championship tournament in VyStar Arena, the league office announced on Monday.

The tournament, currently an eight-team format, will be held over a three-day period following the end of the regular season. The championship winner will receive CUSA's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

The Owls, who first joined the conference in the summer of 2024, will be a first-time host but have experience with postseason volleyball in VyStar Arena. KSU hosted the Atlantic Sun Championship a total of three times before, in 2013, 2018 and in the Covid year of 2021 when it was held in the spring season.
