KENNESAW, Ga. – For the second straight year, Kennesaw State placed a pair of players on the Atlantic Sun Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams, the league office announced on Monday. Senior Lauren Dobbs was a first-team selection, while Caleigh Shore was named to the second-team, both of which are the first all-conference awards in their careers.

KSU also had a total of six players named to the All-Academic ASUN squad, highlighted by Kendal Elison who earned her second straight academic recognition. Claiming honors for the first time was Natalie Charyak, Marleigh Belinfanti, Aislinn Pendergast, Cohen Ridenour and Jordyn Olivo

Dobbs, a senior defender from Dacula, Ga., turned in one of the best defensive seasons in school history, as she currently leads the ASUN in ground balls with 46, third-best ever in a season at KSU. She also paces the league in caused turnovers with 40, which is 15th-best in the nation and a new school record as well. Dobbs also tied the single game record for caused turnovers in game with six in a home win over Presbyterian on March 4.

Shore, a senior attacker and mid-year transfer from Monmouth University, had an outstanding season in her first year with the Owls. She paced the Owls and ranked eighth in the ASUN in draw controls with 69. The Dallas, Ga., native was also one of the top offensive threats for KSU, ranking second on the team in goals (32), assists (six) and points (38). She was even better in league play, leading KSU with 13 goals against ASUN competition.
