KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse travels to Conway, S.C. for the regular season finale against Coastal Carolina on Wednesday. The Chanticleers are in a win-and-in scenario, playing for a spot in the ASUN tournament. The 12 p.m. match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
» This will be the thirteenth meeting between KSU and Coastal Carolina, with the Owls winning once, back in 2022.
» The Owls are also not yet in the ASUN tournament field and are looking to make it back for the first time since 2023. KSU needs either a win against the Chanticleers, or a Jacksonville win over Stetson to clinch a spot in the tournament.
» A win for the Owls would lock them into the tournament field, clinch the second ever regular season with an above .500 record, and the first win over Coastal Carolina since 2022.
» Defender
Lauren Dobbs looks to finish out the best individual defensive regular season in program history, already sitting at 41 ground balls and 38 caused turnovers. The senior captain needs just two more caused turnovers to break the school record for caused turnovers in a career and become the first player in school history with a 40-40 season.
